WATER TOWERS

WATER TOWERS, TANKS AND SPHERES

A water tower is an elevated structure serving as a water reservoir, constructed at a height sufficient to pressurize a distribution system for potable water, and to provide emergency storage for fire protection.

A water sphere is a type of water tower that has a large sphere at the top of its post. The sphere looks like a golf ball sitting on a tee or a round lollipop.
